Halloween Makeup Looks

The jane iredale makeup collection has many beautiful products that can be used in several ways; creating a beautiful, everyday makeup look, covering or concealing skin conditions, adding sun protection and more. For those who like to experiment and be creative, makeup can be a chance to put on your creative makeup hat, think outside the box, and use the products slightly more unconventionally. There are no rules for makeup, and the beauty of jane iredale is knowing that every product will nurture and be kind to the skin.

Looking for inspiration to create an easy Halloween makeup look? I was set a challenge to create some Halloween makeup looks using our beautiful products, and I must admit I had a lot of fun making these looks on my three models.

Halloween Makeup Look #1 – Glamorous Pirate

  1. A beautiful base of Beyond Matte Liquid Foundation in M5 was applied, followed by PurePressed Base in Golden Glow shade using my Blending/Contouring Brush and set with Balance Hydration Spray.

  2. To create the smokey eye, I started with Eye Shere in Champagne Silk to prime the eyelid. Next, charcoal from the Daytime Eye Shadow Kit was pressed into the mobile lid and extended beyond the corner of the eye and smoked out. Cosmic from the Solar Flare Eye Shadow Kit was blended into the crease and smoked out at the edges. Flash from the same kit was blended above the crease and towards the brow, highlighting the brow bone with Twinkle from our new Illuminating Lights Face Palette.

  3. Eye Pencil in Basic Black was smudged into the lower eye line above and below the lashes, extending it outwards. Mystikol Powdered Eyeliner in Onyx was taken across the top lash line and extended and smudged into the lashes. Cosmic from the Solar Flare Eye Shadow Kit was again used to blend out the lower eyeliner and blended outwards to meet the shadow on the upper half of the eye.

  4. False lashes were applied after natural lashes were coated with PureLash Lash Extender and Conditioner and Longest Lash Mascara in Black Ice. 24-Karat Gold Dust was mixed with a small amount of Glycerin to create a drip under each eye.

  5. The face was contoured with Glow from our new Illuminating Lights Face Palette and highlighted with Starlight from the same palette. The beautiful shade of Beam was used as a pop of blush on the cheeks.

  6. The brows were brushed through with PureBrow Brow Gel in our newest shade, Soft Black.

  7. The lips were lined with Lip Liner in one of our newest shades, Cocoa, followed by Triple Luxe Lipstick in Ella. The lips were finished with 24-Karat Gold Dust pressed into the centre of the bottom lip. A small cross was drawn on with Cocoa Lip Pencil on the left cheekbone.

  8. The whole look was finished off with a final spritz of Balance Hydration Spray.

Halloween Makeup Look #2 – Cute Kitty

  1. After applying a base of Beyond Matte Liquid Foundation in M3 and PurePressed Powder in Amber, I spritzed with Pommisst Hydration Spray to set the minerals.

  2. Highlight was added to the skin using Starlight from the new Illuminating Lights Face Palette, and the colour Glow was used to contour the face.

  3. Eye Shere in Champagne Silk was used as a soft eyelid primer, and Gleam from the Illuminating Lights Face Palette was pressed onto the mobile lid. I then pressed some 24-Karat Gold Dust on top for glamour and pop.

  4. Eye Pencil in Basic Black was drawn into the crease on the upper lid and smudged under the eye and lower rim to create a cat’s eye shape.

  5. Next, I used Mystikol Powdered Eyeliner in Onyx to line the upper lash line with a wing and joined the pencil underneath the eye to complete the shape.

  6. Before applying half of the false lashes on the outer corners, the eyelashes were coated with PureLash Lash Conditioner and Extender and a good coat of Longest Lash in Black Ice.

  7. Brows were brushed up and set with PureBrow Brow Gel in Ash Blonde.

  8. The Basic Black Eye Pencil was used to create the nose, top lip and whiskers of the look, and then Mystikol Powdered Eyeliner was used over the nose and lip to create intensity.

  9. The bottom lip was created using 24-Karat Gold Dust mixed with PureGloss Lip Gloss in Soft Peach.

  10. The whole look was finished with another spritz of POMMISST Hydration Spray.

Halloween Makeup Look #3 – Cartoon Wonder Woman

  1. The model’s skin was primed with Smooth Affair Facial Primer & Brightener, followed by Glow Time BB Cream in BB3 and Amazing Base Loose Mineral Powder in Light Beige. Base makeup was set with POMMISST Hydration Spray.

  2. The outlines and lines were mapped out with Retractable Brow Pencil in Ash Blonde.

  3. Smooth Affair Eye Primer in Lemon was applied across the forehead to create a grip for the gold headband before pressing the Honey shade from the Come Fly With Me Eye Shadow Kit onto the primer. 24-Karat Gold Dust was mixed with a drop of Glycerin and then painted across the eye shadow. The headband was outlined with Mystikol Powdered Eyeliner in Onyx using the Bent Liner Brush. This combination was also used to create the other black lines on the face, including the line across the crease line on the upper eyelid and the upper lash line to create the sharp wing line.

  4. The eyelid was primed with Eye Shere in Champagne Silk, and the gold on the mobile lid was created with Gleam from the Illuminating Lights Face Palette, pressed onto the lid. Followed by 24-Karat Gold Dust pressed on top.

  5. The brows were accentuated with PureBrow Brow Gel in our newest shade, Soft Black.

  6. Beam from the Illuminating Lights Face Palette was lightly applied to the cheeks using the White Fan Brush, and the face was highlighted with PurePressed Eye Shadow in Oyster for added glow.

  7. The highlight on the end of the nose, on the chin and drawn into the lower eye line was created with a layering of Eye Pencil in White and Oyster PurePressed Eyeshadow to make it POP.

  8. The Wonder Woman's lip was lined and filled in with Classic Red Lip Pencil. Beyond Matte Lip Fixation Lip Stain in Longing was used to create a beautiful matte lip. Basic Black Eye Pencil lined the outer edges and created a cartoon-like look to the lip. The lip's white accents were made by mixing the White Eye Pencil with Oyster PurePressed Eye Shadow.

  9. Finally, a little red star was added to the centre of the forehead to complete the look!
